Delaware Township
Delaware Township is the oldest of Pike County’s townships. It was in existence before 1766 as part of Northhampton County. It was named because it bordered the Delaware River and originally extended west to the Luzerne County line.

The bridge carries over the Delaware River to New Jersey. Constructed by the Phoenix Iron Company ca. 1900.
