Our Mission
To own, operate manage and control a historical society and museum strictly for educational purposes; and dedicated to the preservation of materials pertaining to the history of Pike County, together with historical articles and exhibits of antique or historic values; and to display and exhibit the same, not for profit, but to further the public interest, knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of such material and its related historic background.

Founded in 1930, The Columns Museum is the repository for Pike County’s artifacts and archives.
