Music of Miners, Canalers, and Rail Riders with Lucas Maehara
Join us for a Canal Supper dessert and coffee, and a musical storytelling program presented by Lucas Maehara.
Lucas is a songwriter in the Folk-American tradition who has written songs that reflect the hardship and happiness surrounding mining, coal, and railroads, and the common themes that run throughout. The Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter is a storyteller of the human experience. His lyrics and music blend the whimsical and the profound creating a sound as diverse as the influences that have shaped the journey. He can connect hearts and souls through expressive artistry and poetic imagination and storytelling prowess. We believe our guests will enjoy the subtleness as well as the intensity of his live performance.
Join us at 3pm in The Foundation Room on Sunday, September 29th!
Tickets to the program are $45 per person. Seating is limited, so reserve early!
