Smoky Joe Wood’s Birthday Bash will take place on Friday October 25th, which just so happens to be Joe’s Birthday!

Our own “Mr. October”, Smoky was a force to be reckoned with atop the pitcher’s mound. His record speaks for itself, highlighted by his performance in the 1912 World Series.

The party starts at 6 p.m. with a showing of the segments from “Baseball”, the great documentary by Ken Burns, which features Joe and the years he played. Then the fun begins as guests may participate in games of skill, and luck, including the famous “baseball darts” competition, to win trophies.

People are encouraged to dress as old-time baseball players or don your favorite team’s jersey to add to the fun.
